Finding a legitimate wholesaler who will also dropship your items directly to your customer can be a challenge. A quick search on Google will reveal dozens of leaks offering to dropship at wholesale prices but upon closer inspection, the majority promise to sell you a list or a membership at an inflated price that will allow you to purchase merchandise “from a select group of dealers” who will dropship your items.
What is a dropshipper? A dropshipper is a wholesale company with items in stock who will sell to you at a wholesale price, pull the item from stock, repackage it, and send it on to your customer using your return address label.
A real dropshipper will require a state sales tax certificate before doing business with you. Dropshippers do not sell merchandise to the general public or hide their location or warehouse information from you. Real dropshippers do not require a membership fee.
